Game of Thrones showrunner David Benioff explains the decision to keep Bran and Hodor out of Season 5. Given the shoe’s seven year narrative plan, Bran’s storyline has run out for now and it made more sense to bench him and focus on other characters. Fear not-Bran will be back.
