Wayward Pines: Quick Thoughts

For American Horror Story fans, I believe that Wayward Pines might fill the void until AHS returns. With equal parts X-Files, Twilight Zone, and Twin Peaks, M. Night Shyamalan’s foray into television promises creeps and thrills, and enough mystery to keep us coming back for its ten week run.

There is an existential quality to the show:

“How do I get out of here?”
“You don’t.”

Long Beach Comic Expo

I’m on the ground at the Long Beach Comic Expo. I’ve seen Dean Haglund and Barry Bostwick on the con floor.

In a nod to the late Leonard Nimoy, the entire exhibit hall floor paused in a moment of silence and everyone raised their hands in a Vulcan salute to honor Mr. Spock.

The best thing so far? The artists are in the spotlight.  Artists Alley is bustling with activity. Here you see seasoned veterans and up-and-comers showing off their immense talent.

Move Over Chemtrails! Time for Lasers and the Omega Lock!

Clive Lewis is reporting that proof of weather modification has been released–allegedly–on the news.  Instead of chemtrails and contrails, now it is lasers that can be used to pull moisture from the air and cause precipitation.

Not only that, but John Kerry is proposing that extreme weather poses a global threat.  Of course, humans are the cause of it.  But is weather being manipulated into a weapon?  Weaponized weather?
